SAN DIEGO — Another series of loud booms may be heard across San Diego next week, according to officials from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.In a noise advisory issued Thursday, Camp Pendleton says there will be live-fire training with Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) starting Saturday, April 29 until Sunday, May 7.Military officials say MICLIC may produce sounds "louder than usual." BURBANK, Ill. — A man and woman are dead after a shooting Thursday evening inside a restaurant in Burbank.According to the Burbank Police Department, officers were called to the restaurant around 6:40 p.m. in the 6500 block of West 79th Street. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- For years, teachers in Austin Independent School District have been working to get a pay increase, but will it happen?On Thursday, members from Education Austin, which is the union representing AISD employees, rallied outside AISD headquarters, chanting and telling stories about why salaries need to increase. ”A lot of our teachers are working two to three jobs, a lot of TAs and other positions are working two to three jobs just to make ends meet," said Denise Hankins, a TA in AISD. ST. LOUIS – A veterinary drug used to sedate horses is being mixed into drugs sold illegally on the streets across St. Louis. A FOX Files investigation reveals an alarming spike in the last month of a new drug mixture that is literally rotting people's skin. LOUIS - A FOX 2 exclusive report on the thick brush from abandoned St. Louis properties overtaking city alleys, blocking garbage trucks, and adding to the city's trash crisis brought an immediate response Thursday morning.Cameras obtained from FOX 2 captured garbage truck drivers pushing through alleyways that looked more like forests, trying to get to residents’ dumpsters. The dumpsters were hidden by thick brush, with filth piling up on the ground around them.By noon Thursday, the brush was gone, the dumpsters were exposed, and the alleys were passable again behind the 4400 block of Anderson.
