ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Funny Bone announced they will be hosting comedian and actor Hannibal Buress. The first performance is scheduled for July 7. Buress is best known for his standup comedy and for being the co-host of "The Eric Andre Show" from 2012 to 2020. He portrayed Lincoln Rice on Comedy Central's "Broad City", as well as being featured in several comedic cameos, including Marvel's 2021 film "Spiderman: No Way Home". There will be a total of four shows, with two performances at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. respectively on July 7, and then two performances at 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. on July 8. Denver International Airport planned to open four new PreCheck security-screening lanes Friday afternoon to expand capacity at its busiest checkpoint during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.The new lanes are at the terminal’s south main checkpoint, which is on Level 5 nearest to the Westin DIA Hotel and transit center, and they’re actually set off in a new auxiliary screening area. It’s just north of that checkpoint, near the central atrium and roughly aligned with Baggage Claim 7 to the east.The new space was roped off Friday morning, but DIA spokesman Jose Salas said the tentative plan was to open at some point Friday afternoon.While the south checkpoint primarily is for standard screening, the offset lanes will add more capacity for TSA PreCheck screening. A brush fire has grown to 15 acres and is continuing to spread in Moreno Valley late Friday morning.The Lantz Fire broke out at Lantz Lane and Ironwood Avenue at about 10 a.m., and it was burning "light flashy fuels," the Riverside County Fire Department said on Twitter.By 11:20 a.m., it had grown to 15 acres and was continuing to spread at a moderate pace."Evacuation Warning has been issued for the the area North of Ironwood and East of Moreno Beach," fire officials said. 49-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Worsley RoadDESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (June 30, 2023) – Wednesday, Gildardo Gonzalez Luna was killed in a 2-car accident on North Indian Canyon Drive.Authorities responded to the scene around 2:41 p.m., just east of Worsley Road.Per reports, the driver of a 2013 Ford Fiesta crossed the solid double yellow lines while heading west. As a result, the Ford struck an oncoming 2007 Honda Civic head-on.First responders arrived and pronounced the driver of the Honda dead at the scene. 12-Year-Old Girl Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident on Belmont StreetLAS VEGAS, NV (June 30, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, Yelina Tarango was killed in a hit-and-run crash on East Carey Avenue.Authorities responded to the scene around 3:40 p.m., near Belmont Street on June 20th.Per reports, the driver of a 2005 Cadillac Escalade and a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro were traveling recklessly on the northbound lanes. The Cadillac driver then ran a red light and struck a pickup-truck at the intersection.Upon impact, the Cadillac continued driving and struck another vehicle and Tarango who was standing on the sidewalk. 67-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Two VehiclesPHOENIX, AZ (June 30, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a bicyclist identified as John Guagliano died in a bicycle crash on 7th Street.It happened along 7th Street near Camelback Road, just after 3:00 a.m., June 25th.According to the Phoenix police, 67-year-old Guagliano was traveling south on 7th Street when he was struck by a vehicle.Furthermore, Guagliano was downed on the roadway when another vehicle hit him causing him to die of his injuries.Unfortunately, the two vehicles did not stop to call for an emergency.
