SANTA CLARA — Let the record reflect that red-jersey No. 97 returned to action on 9/7/23.Nick Bosa, a day after agreeing to a historic contract extension, worked on his individual conditioning while his 49ers teammates began Thursday’s practice, with three days to go until the season opener Sunday at Pittsburgh.Bosa looked as fit as ever. Rather than force-feed him into practice for the first time since last season’s playoffs, the 49ers had him stretch and do light running while shadowed by head strength coach Dustin Perry.Minus his helmet, Bosa was otherwise in full uniform: shoulder pads, gold pants, white gloves and a snug fitting jersey that was tucked up into his shoulder pads, with a white undershirt shrouding his chiseled abdominal muscles. On Wednesday, Bosa agreed to the richest contract in 49ers history and the NFL’s largest for a non-quarterback: five years, $170 million. He flew in Wednesday night from his native Florida and was at the 49ers’...Sonoma Hells Angels member sentenced to five years in federal prison as RICO case continues

SAN FRANCISCO — A longtime member of the Sonoma Hells Angels was sentenced to five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to involvement in a racketeering conspiracy and an assault, court records show.Russel Lyles Jr. pleaded guilty to a racketeering offense last November, but that doesn’t mean he agrees with the prosecution’s assessment of exactly what crimes he committed. Lyles’ lawyer submitted a 14-page court document filled with objections to a pre-sentencing report, in which Lyles either denies involvement in racketeering crimes, or clarified his motivation for committing various assaults.“Lyles often used his fists to punish individuals for their behavior or to ‘toughen them up,'” his attorney wrote in a document that denies Lyles committed a particular assault to further the Hells Angels’ interest.Nor, apparently, did Lyles agree with everything his fellow Hells Angels did. When he learned through a newspaper report that...Meghan Markle’s seat next to Hollywood strike ‘villain’ Ted Sarandos at Beyonce concert raises questions

Much of the attention that Meghan Markle garnered over the weekend for her “triumphant” return to the spotlight at two of Beyonce’s Renaissance performances in Los Angeles focused on her being photographed dancing next to her glum-looking husband Prince Harry, but also mingling with a roster of A-listers, including Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington and assorted members of the Kardashian family.Less attention was paid to a potentially more significant connection Meghan enjoyed at Monday night’s performance. According to photos published by the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex was photographed seated next to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, which raises a host of questions and speculation about her status in Hollywood and where her loyalties lie.BEVERLY HILLS, CA – JULY 28: Chief Content Officer for Netflix Ted Sarandos speaks onstage during the Netflix portion of the 2015 Summer TCA Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on July 28, 2015 in Beverly Hills,...Ex-Trump adviser Navarro convicted of contempt of Congress
