Stephen Roch (Boulder County Sheriff’s Office)A Louisville man who lost his home in the Marshall Fire and was accused of threatening a firefighter after trying to go back to the burn area has been sentenced to probation.Stephen Tyger Francis Roch, 25, was found guilty on two misdemeanor counts, obstruction of a firefighter and obstructing government operations, in a split verdict following a trial in January.Roch on Thursday was sentenced to one year of probation and 120 hours of community service, according to online court records.According to an affidavit, a firefighter working the Marshall Fire encountered Roch in the area of St. Andrews Lane and Dillon Road at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 31, 2021, the day after the fire started. Two moderate candidates, Mike Johnston and Kelly Brough, are on the cusp of facing each other in a runoff election to name Denver’s next mayor.In the latest round of results from the 2023 municipal election, Johnston had 24.5% of the vote, tops among the 16 candidates who appeared on the mayoral ballot. Three people have been arrested in connection with a November home invasion that occurred in Diamond Bar, officials announced Thursday.During the Nov. 14, 2022 incident, the suspects allegedly forced an elderly couple into the living room at gunpoint and placed shirts over their heads, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.Property and $22,000 in cash was stolen during the incident and the suspects got away in a black Acura.The suspects were eventually identified as Rynell Verdin, Arturo Gonzalez and Mattron Brown, officials said without elaborating.Search warrants were served at the suspects' homes in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties on Wednesday.Investigators were able to find about $17,000 in cash, three illegal firearms, personal items belonging to the victims as well as ski masks and other clothing used during the robbery, officials said.The suspect were booked on suspicion of robbery and are being held without bail.They are set to appear in co...IRS to open 5 Taxpayer Assistance Centers in California, other tax preparation help avaliable for Americans

Hit-and-Run Crash near Oak Street Left Police Officer InjuredPHOENIX, AZ (April 6, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, Marlon De Jesus was arrested after a hit-and-run crash near 40th Street.The incident happened on March 15th just after 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of 40th Street and Oak Street.According to reports, a vehicle, driven by Hernandez ran a red light on 40th Street and struck a police cruiser.
